DAHC owns and manages a portfolio of 79 rental units which are primarily reserved for special needs populations. For the most part, these units are located on scattered sites throughout the City of Denton. A few of the units are located in the neighboring communities of Sanger and Corinth.

Coronado Complex

12 two-bedroom units configured in 3 fourplexes

  • Originally purchased from the RTC
  • As a nonprofit, purchased at a deep discount
  • 3 of the 12 units leased to very-low-income households
  • 2 of the 12 units leased to low-income households
  • Monitored by the State
  • Rent ranges from $740 – $800

City of Denton HOME fund grant for upgrades

  • 8 of the 12 units affected
  • At lease-up, 90% must be 60% AMI
  • After lease-up, 100% of the 8 units must be <80% AMI
  • Monitored by the Denton Community Development Office
